So what is BlueKit Medical?
Well, put simply, it’s a shared response.
A response to what?
For us, it was a very real response to the increasing demands to improve operating theatre efficiency: to reduce costs, increase quality and, what’s more, maximize end results for medical professionals and patients.
Why?
We’ve been in the thick of it, experiencing that very real need to think fast, act fast and move safely – and those of us working in operating theatre wanted to see solutions. That’s when BlueKit was born; the idea was a perfectly produced procedural kit, designed to meet the exacting needs of universal surgical procedures.
What of it?
With our combined experience and knowledge of surgery, we’ve tailored our procedure packs to combine all the component parts required for a typical surgical procedure. Additionally, the care and development of the sterile, single-use procedure pack, is there to champion effective infection control in an effort to support the highest levels of safety.
What else?
With expert knowledge in Surgery, choice BlueKit Medical Surgical Instruments and the dedicated development of our very own Drapes and Swabs, we intend to do our very best to please. With our original ambitions in mind, we meet with clients on an individual basis, ascertaining exactly what it is they need. The outcome is a product, or range of products, that will collectively reduce waste, avoid compromise and promote safety. Our cost-efficient solutions are designed to work in tandem with patient safety.
Why Innovation in Operation?
With Innovation in Operation, we intend to continue to develop our understanding of the needs of the medical profession, willing to rise to meet the increasing challenges faced in the work-place. Right now, we’re gearing up to launch our very own Bluekit Medical Surgical Gauze Swabs. We’ve taken control of the manufacturing process, seeking to refine our product with full quality control and present our products to our users in a manner that supports our intentions to provide a safer and improved product. This product development lends to our position in wanting to support a system of standardised and harmonised practice in healthcare as a means to achieve safer, better practice.
Whilst our journey’s only just begun, it’s been a great ride so far and we’re certainly looking forward to the future.
